Owners Joe Lorenzen and Anne Taffe have both grown up in families greatly involved in the aviation world. Joe spent many hours in the wilds of Alaska's back country in the seat of his father's Cessna 180 on amphibs. When Joe discovered how much fun it is to go low and slow it opened up a whole new world. He bought an Australian Airborne Edge X with skis in the winter and floats in the summer, Joe was able to explore Alaska like the rare and the privileged.
Anne's family was also fascinated with flight. Her father flew the fields of Western Minnesota in his Super Cub and her brother flies internationally. Anne prefers to co-pilot from back seat and catch all the sites Mother Nature has to offer.
A new adventure beckoned in 2007 and a relocaton to Lake Havasu City, Arizona was made. There Joe could spend many hours in the air and so he decided he would share his passion. He trained friends, family and added to the group they call, "Lake Havasu Ultralight Air Force."
Come and share the adventure with us!
